Craft for a Cause is a new monthly creative series at MOMU where we gather to make something joyful while supporting organizations doing meaningful work in our community. Each month features a different hands-on craft and a different nonprofit partner—and net ticket proceeds are donated.
Join us for our March Craft for a Cause workshop, where we’ll be creating embroidered felt bookmarks—soft, colorful, and perfect for marking your place in a favorite book or gifting to a fellow reader.
This relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop will introduce simple embroidery techniques you can use to personalize your bookmark. All supplies are provided, and no prior embroidery experience is needed. Come for the craft, stay for the connection.
✨ March’s beneficiary: International Refugee Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City — providing opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in Utah.
No crafting experience needed—just bring your creativity, your curiosity, and your heart for community. Come solo or bring a friend. You’ll leave with a finished piece, new connections, and the good feeling that comes from giving back.
